Alan Oken has been a practicing astrologer, student and teacher of The Ancient Wisdom since 1967. He is a linguist who speaks and writes in seven languages and has taught courses and seminars in numerous countries all over the world. In addition to “Alan Oken’s Complete Astrology,” he is the author of eleven other books and hundreds of articles. Alan is a member and advisor to ISAR (The International Society for Astrological Research) and served as the Director of The Wisdom School from 2000–2006. After moving from his home in Santa Fe, NM where he resided for over 30 years, Alan now divides his time between Australia (where he is a co-director of The Australian Institute for the Development of Consciousness), Portugal (where he is on the astrological faculty of the Quiron Center) and Bali (where he relaxes).
